GUIDELINES FOR APPLICATION FOR STAY AT RECREATION CENTRES

  1. Applicant should have a valid email address before making the online application.
  2. Applicant will need to indicate his/her preferred choice of any Recreation Centre where he/she wishes to be allocated a stay.
  3. Once the online application is made successfully, an automatic acknowledgement will be forwarded to the applicant by email, indicating:
    • an acknowledgement ID;
    • application details as input by applicant; and
    • the proposed allocation of stay/s at the selected Recreation Centre and as per the strength of the Association as put forward by applicant.

    Important Note: Allocation of stay/s will be confirmed by officers of the selected Recreation Centre, after verification of all information submitted in the online application form.
  4. Duplicate applications made by an individual or Association, during the application period, will not be considered during confirmation stage.
  5. The acknowledgement ID will be required:
    • when providing the list of names of participants and the list of all members;
    • for check-in purposes; and
    • for any future applications and queries.
  6. After the online application, applicant should download the relevant form to fill in the names in block letters and the National Identity Card numbers (N.I.C) of the participants. The duly filled-in forms should be forwarded, within one week, at the Recreation Centre as selected by the applicant.
  7. The applicant is also required to forward a separate list of names of all members of his/her Association, together with their N.I.C. numbers at the same Recreation Centre.
  8. A person can benefit from a stay only once a year, in this case, during the period June 2024 to June 2025.
  9. The rate payable is Rs 250.00 per person for a two-night's stay.
  10. Associations are strongly advised to bring along ONLY MEMBERS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE ASSOCIATIONS.
  11. Associations are also advised to request their members not to bring along with them, any valuable belongings during their stay. The Ministry will not be held responsible for loss of any valuable belonging.
  12. The maximum number of members allowed per Association depends on the strength of its membership as follows:
    • for less than 200 members - only one stay for a maximum of 50 members;
    • for 200 - 499 members - two stays for a maximum of 50 members per stay; and
    • for more than 500 members - three stays for a maximum of 50 members per stay.
  13. Persons with disabilities may be accompanied by their respective encadreurs. Six encadreurs will be allowed for each group of 50 persons with disabilities.
